Why Small groups?
* There is no simple way to grow a healthy church. However, a healthy small group ministry is one of the best ways to fulfill the purposes of the church and take care of many of the issues of evangelism that hinders churches from influencing the community.
* Significant life changes can happen through small groups. Small groups are a great tool for helping create a sense of community among the members of churches. Rick Warren states that small groups provide a place for people to fulfill all five purposes of the church: 1) grow warmer through fellowship, 2) deeper through discipleship, 3) stronger through worship, 4) broader through ministry, 5) and larger through evangelism.
* Life change happens best in small groups.
* It helps to become the primary means to lifestyle evangelism. Missionally-focused.
* Helps the church to create discipleship opportunities for its members.
* Helps the church to recognize the spiritual gifts of others and to help release them into ministry.
